Description
The UR-N-Control™ Tri-Level QC Set consists of 3 solutions (Levels 1-3) with low, normal and high values of analytes common to adulteration testing and urinalysis. It is designed for use with automated analyzer systems performing adulteration detection testing in conjunction with drugs-of-abuse analysis on urine specimens. The set consists of 3 controls made of a synthetic urine matrix containing urea, creatinine, phosphates, sodium, chloride, potassium, and other normal urinary constituents. Because UR-N-Control™ is manufactured from a synthetic base it is free of potential contamination by hepatitis and HIV viruses. UR-N-Control™ Controls yield a range of values for creatinine, pH, specific gravity and nitrite (oxidants).
