AdultaCheck® 4, 6 and 10:
U.S. and Foreign Patents and Patents Pending
In 1998, Chimera introduced the first dry chemistry test strips designed specifically for on-site
adulteration testing of urine. The AdultaCheck® 4 test strip provides test pad for the semi-quantitative
measurement of creatinine, nitrite, glutaraldehyde and pH. It was the first dry chemistry test strip to ever
test for creatinine and glutaraldehyde in urine. By testing urine at the point-of-collection, samples that are
suspect for adulteration may be immediately identified, and the donor required to provide a second
observed collection before leaving the test site.
AdultaCheck® was the first at the point-of-collection adulteration test strip to enter the Point of Care
market. The AdultaCheck® Product line tests for all commercial and household available adulterants.
AdultaCheck® Provides an economical and efficient method for the detection of the following adulterants.
Description: An On-Site test strip for the visual determination of creatinine, nitrite, aldehydes, pH, oxidants,
chromate, nitrite, specific gravity, halogens (bleach), and peroxidase in urine. These assays enable rapid,
non-instrument assessment of the integrity of urine sample prior to drugs-of-abuse testing. In short, these
test strips facilitate detection of many forms of adulterants at the point of collection.
Usage: The AdultaCheck® test strips have reagent impregnated test pads for specific analytes to include but
not limited to creatinine, nitrite, aldehydes, pH, oxidants, chromate, nitrite, specific gravity, halogens (bleach),
and peroxidase. For Forensic/Toxicology Use Only. Not for diagnosis or treatment.
